Antique Georgian Valentine Card Love Letter£95.00
Rare Georgian paper lace Valentine card C1825 - 1830's which has tiny little paper flowers and a little embossed envelope which is accentuated with gilding and silver. Writing to the top reads "Loves Faithfull Offering" and the tiny little letter inside has the verse
"No more shall meads be decked with flowers,
Nor sweetness dwell in rosy bowers,
Nor greenest buds on branches spring,
Nor warbling birds delight to sing,
Nor April violets paint the grove,
If I forsake the one I love.
To the inside is written in tiny writing
"Where ever tho art is home to me, and home with out thee cannot be"
