Lovely hand painted on rice paper antique painting of a young Chinese girl winding silk thread. Beautiful clothes and tiny little lotus shoes depict that this was a girl from a wealthy family. Very unusual to see the little feet on display. I have had this framed to protect the painting as it is only on the most fragile rice paper, this was purchased with a folder of others which sadly have damage but this one and I consider it the best was in excellent condition having been wrapped in an outer layer of tissue. The actual painting measures 4.75" x 6" and the frame altogether measures 14" x 12" If you would like any more information or pictures please don't hesitate to ask.
