A lovely little antique continental gilded sterling silver engraved cachou or snuff box with a charming scene of two lovers, the man putting flowers into the girls hair. Stamped to the inside 800, this is European.  There is a little flaw to the front of the silver box, not on the enamel, which I think may have been in the manufacture otherwise in very good original condition. The hinge and closure work well.  Measuring 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm x 1.25 cm high approx
