A fantastic antique Victorian tobacco or snuff box with wonderful engraved decoration depicting a swan to the reverse which stands for Loyalty and strength. W S Parker engraved amidst scrolling foliage and a scalloped design to the edges. The hinge and shut works beautifully and is still smooth after all these years. Very good condition with no dents or repairs. Measuring 9 cm x 6 cm approx
Maybe there is no significance but this was purchased within a mile of the tiny little village of Hanley Swan.
