A beautiful miniature antique watercolour painting on paper of a lady in period dress with a choker necklace and earrings, hair powdered and in an elaborate style. The frame is gilded wood with gesso moldings, the picture is mounted under glass, the back is papered with french writing, this is coming away at the back but can easily be reframed but the picture still holds well in the frame so could be displayed quite easily. The painting itself is in very good condition. A wonderful addition to anyone's collection. Measuring (whole frame) 14 cm x 12 cm approx 
I have some beautiful green and gold Italian marbled paper that I can send with this which would be just perfect to redo the back.
