A really handsome antique Edwardian sterling silver vesta case and sovereign case combination. Beautifully engraved "To Fred from four Leeds Colleagues" with the initials of all four friends and the date 1902. So who was Fred ? who were the pals, did they all miss out on the first world war ? or did they all sign up and go together ?. Hallmarks for Chester 1900 with makers initials for William Neal. The sovereign case flips open with a push button at the top and the vesta flicks open with a hinged top. 
 
In very good all original condition. Measuring 6.5 cm x 5 cm not including the push button top or ring, 37.9 grams approx.
