A beautiful pair of tiny embroidered and hand stitched antique Chinese Lotus shoes for bound feet. Gold thread and flowers onto a pale blue ground.  I would date these around 1880s. Some bits of wear to the back panels, commensurate with age and mentioned for complete accuracy and there is discoloration especially to the tiny little heels, otherwise in all original condition.  There is a label attached to the base that just says Chinese Shoes, they are from the Jocelyn Chatterton collection from a sale on October 2019. Measuring 9.5 cm long from toe to heel approx.
