A really pretty little antique brooch possibly in the form of a folded letter with a swift bird in enamel, maybe symbolising elopement, the swallow symbolised freedom and was the associated with Aphrodite the goddess of love. At one point I think this may have been gilded, very good all original condition.  Measuring just under 3.5 cm x just under 2.5 cm approx
