A beautiful little ceramic box with gilded mounts and serpentine design to the sides and top, lovely pinkish red picture of lovers in a garden. Crossed blue mark to the bottom in the Meissen style, could be Sampson of Paris. Some age patination to the mounts and some slight pitting which is commensurate with production, commensurate with age and mentioned for complete accuracy otherwise in very good all original condition
