A fabulous antique needlepoint over painted silk of a male figure with a Lyre likely representing Orpheus or Apollo while the seated woman could be Eurydice or a muse. some slight wear to the silk in the top left hand corner, commensurate with age and mentioned for compete accuracy otherwise in very good condition.
